Darren began his legal career after a long and varied path that included experience working as a non-profit development officer, a state park ranger, and various jobs in construction and service (often more than one at a time). His background helps him understand the problems you face when you are legally wronged or injured and the paychecks stop coming, or when going to work in a toxic environment becomes a burden when you are just trying to make a living.
After more than a decade working for non-profit organizations, Darren entered Lewis Clark Law School where he excelled, served as executive editor for the law review, and graduated with honors. Upon graduation, he immediately began his litigation career in 2010 and has been involved in some of the most complex and unique construction litigation and arbitration cases in the region. He has more than thirteen years of experience in the fields of construction, construction defect, personal injury, professional malpractice, civil disputes, and insurance coverage disputes and he is an experienced trial and arbitration lawyer.
